WHY HYBRIDS?
Breeding hybrids consists of deliberately breeding a chosen Sire and Dam from two different purebred dogs, then breeding a specific crossbreed to others of the same cross. This sets a standard, the ancestry of the puppies are documented over generations thus creating a new "breed". These "breeds" are the new "designer" dogs being bred for families or single owners looking for pets that are easier to train, have good temperaments, and make excellent family additions. LEARNED vs. BRED?
Of course select breeding gives the advantage of getting more of what you want in a dog, but the breeder also plays a part in handling that determines the behavior in your new pet. We handle our dogs on a daily basis and take pride in assuring they are well socialized and family ready before they go to their new homes. Puppies are placed in their "playpen" three times a day to learn play skills, potty training and get their share of "cuddles" with me to learn their "people skills"! Of course Donnee (my two year old) helps me with that too so they learn to associate with children also, who can sometimes play a little "rough".
